The Arizona Mayors Education Roundtable is a virtual organization that connects Arizona mayors on education issues. Members of the Roundtable have in-depth discussions about education initiatives, overcome policy barriers, and develop common, cohesive strategies for addressing local education problems. The Roundtable gives members a unique opportunity to share ideas, learn from more experienced peers and experts, and participate in convenings and discussions among mayors, their staff members, urban superintendents, school district leadership, and community members.
The Roundtable is funded by the Helios Education Foundation and managed by WestEd, a research, development and service agency. |

We Support Local
Education Initiatives
The Arizona Mayors Education Roundtable supports city-school-district engagement and collaborations on local education issues through technical assistance and support to mayors, school superintendents, their respective staff members and community stakeholders. We develop and implement evidence-based approaches to improving outcomes in our cities and build political will and cross-sector engagement in planning local education agendas. |
We Expand the Knowledge Base & Learning Network for Mayors
Through research and resources, including state and national expertise, meetings, partnerships and funding opportunities, as well as online tools and resources, the Arizona Mayors Education Roundtable is building a knowledge base that can accelerate local and statewide action. |
